You can sign up for shifts of 2 - 4 hours and receive free catering for the festival day.
The tasks include set-up, jumper/supply runs, admission, information booth, bar serving, food serving, backstage support, disassembly, etc. The tasks will be added to as required over time.

ACT AUT - Autismus Ausleben ist eine Interessenvertretung von und für queere spät diagnostizierte Autist:innen in Graz. Wir möchten zu mehr Sensibilisierung für Autismus als natürlichen Bestandteil menschlicher Vielfalt im Sinne von Neurodiversität beitragen und Vorurteile und Berührungsängste gegenüber Autist:innen abbauen. Uns ist es ein zentrales Anliegen, die Betroffenenperspektive ("nicht über, sondern mit uns") von Autist:innen im öffentlichen Diskurs zu stärken und die Schaffung von diskriminierungsarmen Räumen für neurodivergente Personen, vor allem FLINTAs, zu unterstützen.
ACT AUT bietet Support für spät diagnostizierte und queere Autist:innen durch Vernetzung, Peer-Gruppen und Wissensvermittlung, sowie Empfehlung von geeigneten und geprüften Diagnostiken, Psychotherapien und entsprechenden Beratungen. Zudem ist unser Schwerpunkt die Bereitstellung von wissenschaftlich fundierten Informationen für Fachkräfte im Sozial-, Bildungs-, und Gesundheitsbereich im Rahmen von Workshops, Vorträgen, etc.
Diversität aufzeigen und ermöglichen, Frauen und Männern Chancengleichheit bieten, Mädchen und junge Frauen für Technik und Naturwissenschaften begeistern, Partnerschaft, Familie und Beruf bzw. Studium gut vereinbaren – so unterschiedlich diese Themen sind, haben sie doch etwas gemeinsam: Die TU Graz nimmt diese gesellschaftspolitischen Ziele der Gleichstellung ernst und schafft die notwendigen Strukturen.
Das Büro für Gleichstellung, Jugend & Vereinbarkeit unterstützt das Rektorat bei der Umsetzung dieser gesellschaftspolitischen Ziele.
Die Mitarbeiterinnen des Büros
- beschäftigen sich mit der Vielfalt von Lebensentwürfen und Lebensphasen sowie möglichen Barrieren, die aus dieser Unterschiedlichkeit im universitären Leben entstehen.
- initiieren Prozesse an der TU Graz, die dazu beitragen, individuelle Unterschiede wie Alter, Religion und Weltanschauung, ethnische Herkunft, etc. als Potenzial zu erkennen und zu nutzen.
- setzen Impulse, um junge Menschen unabhängig von gängigen Rollenzuschreibungen für Technik und Naturwissenschaften zu begeistern.
- verstehen sich als Anlauf-, Service- und Beratungsstelle.

Die Steirische Gesellschaft für Kulturpolitik unter der Präsidentschaft von Kurt Flecker ist eine der wichtigsten kulturpolitischen Drehschreiben in der Steiermark. In den Bereichen der Kultur-, Gesellschafts- und Bildungspolitik konfrontiert sie viele Menschen mit kulturellen beziehungsweise künstlerischen Phänomenen, bezieht sie in Diskussionsprozesse ein und aktiviert kritisches Bewusstsein.
Durch Veranstaltungen, auch in Kooperation mit bestehenden Kulturinitiativen und Organisationen sollen über das Medium Kunst unter Einbeziehung von Künstler*innen neue Formate ermöglicht und erforscht werden.

The Grazer Frauenrat (Womxn's Council of Graz) is a diverse, broad, non-partisan and non-denominational network of many womxn-specific and feminist institutions, associations and initiatives in Graz.
Representatives of the organisations meet regularly to network, identify feminist-political issues in the city of Graz and develop feminist goals based on these issues.
The Grazer Frauenrat takes a stand on feminist-political issues, plans actions to empower womxn, draws attention to injustices - all with the aim of bringing about feminist change in our society.

Die IG Kultur Steiermark ist Interessensvertretung und Anlaufstelle für Kunst- & Kulturinitiativen in der Steiermark. Sie ist das Sprachrohr gegenüber der breiten Öffentlichkeit und den politischen Entscheidungsträgerinnen. Als Expertin für Fragestellungen in den Bereichen Kulturpolitik, Kulturverwaltung und Kulturentwicklung ist sie ständig bestrebt die Rahmenbedingungen für autonome Kulturarbeit zu verbessern und abzusichern. Außerdem bietet die IG Kultur Steiermark ein vielfältiges und meist kostenfreies Beratungs- und Weiterbildungs-Angebot für Akteur*innen des Kunst- und Kulturbereiches an. Die "Omas gegen Rechts" sind eine zivilgesellschaftliche Bewegung, die 2017 in Österreich gegründet wurde und sich gegen Rechtsextremismus, Rassismus und Antisemitismus einsetzt. Ihr Ziel ist es, demokratische Werte zu verteidigen und die Gesellschaft für Toleranz und Menschlichkeit zu sensibilisieren. Ihr Engagement zeigt, dass Zivilcourage und politischer Widerstand keine Frage des Alters sind.

QuFO ist der neue queer-feministische Verein in Graz! Wir setzen uns aus vielen Gruppierungen, Kollektiven und Vereinen wie IN*Q, RAVENBOGEN, Empty Closet, AWA Graz, uvm. zusammen, aber es sind auch genügend unabhängige Menschen bei uns aktiv. Wir wollen ein Dachverein für die vielen diversen Gruppierungen in Graz sein, die sich über die Jahre gebildet haben und gemeinsam an einer besseren Zukunft für queere Menschen und FINTAs arbeiten.
Radio Helsinki, Graz’s community radio station, accompanies selected music events with exclusive live broadcasts, bringing voices, sounds, and atmospheres directly to the airwaves. At the same time, it is a place where people are empowered to make radio themselves and create their own programmes. Radio Helsinki sees itself as a platform for free, independent, and resistant voices - especially for those that are often overlooked or unheard in the mainstream.
It is also where all Rrradio formats by the Grrrls can be heard in their original first broadcast.

RISOGRAD is a print collective from Graz that has been running a self-managed print space in the premises of Schaumbad — Freies Atelierhaus Graz since 2017. As part of its public workshop, people can create their own printed works here with guidance, using risography. The collective is interested in the DIY aspect of publications and the aesthetic that comes with it, and sees the project as a political tool for reclaiming the means of production for printed matter. Beyond the open workshops, the collective is also concerned with reflecting on and producing its own content — sometimes resulting in tangible works such as photo magazines, comics, and small encyclopedias on the history of feminism in Austria.
The Cake Escape ist eine virtuelle Band bestehend aus 5 animierten Mitgliedern. Mit feministischen und antirassistischen Texten singt und rappt die Band in unterschiedlichen Sprachen für Gleichberechtigung und Gleichstellung. Die gezeichneten Charaktere verschmelzen in der Animation mit der Realität und laden auf den Straßen von Graz – mit Humor und Charme – zum singen und tanzen ein. Ein popkultureller Mix aus verschiedenen Musikgenres und Live-Action Animation.

Femicide - the murder of women, girls and genderqueer people because of their gender - is a huge problem in Austria, with the majority of femicide victims being murdered by their partner or ex partner. These are not isolated incidents. They are part of a pattern of violence that is caused by different factors within our society and communities: factors that we can change. Everyone can do something to help end femicide!
The Resistance Quilt Project is a local community art project that focuses on collecting, generating and promoting changes that we can make to help end femicide. The project is taking place throughout 2024 in the form of workshops and public events, and the final outcome will be exhibited at Forum Stadtpark in December.
The creative outcome of the project will be a large-scale quilt and an accompanying ‘sonic quilt.’ The large scale quilt is constructed from the bed-sheet banners made to mark each femicide in Austria for the monthly demonstrations. Each of the bed-sheet femicide banners is developed into a quilt piece by adding insights and ideas from the public about what must change in order to stop this violence from taking place. The ‘sonic-quilt' is made up of field recordings from demonstrations, including chants and speeches, as well as (with permission) conversations held during the workshops.
The artists (/ feminist punks!) behind the project are Ren Aldridge and Reni Hoffmüller. Ren founded the project, which grew from her experiences as a co-organiser of the monthly femicide demonstrations and the research she did for her TEDx talk on resistance to femicide. Ren is also part of local art collective Roter Keil and feminist punk band Petrol Girls. Reni is part of Radio Helsinki, feminist PostPunkBand Lonesome Hot Dudes and various feminist technological collectives such as eclectic tech carnival, TransHackFeminist Meeting, as well as a founder of esc medien kunst labor. Reni is leading the creation of the sonic quilt. For Sterrrn Festival they will be joined by artist, researcher and educator Nayarí Castillo, who will conduct a ritual for both the femicide victims and those of us fighting to end this violence.
Tint Journal is an award-winning online literary magazine with an explicit focus on writers who write creatively in English as their second or non-native language (ESL). Since the first magazine issue in spring 2019, the association Tint has been committed to raising awareness for the diverse use of language in the world's many literatures. In addition to the biannual issues of the magazine, Tint shares book reviews and interviews year-round, and organizes readings and other events that focus on the world's most widely spoken second language—English—as a means of creative expression. Das womens Action forum ist eine überparteiliche, überkonfessionelle und unabhängige Plattform, die sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, mit Mitteln des Empowerments Sexismus, Rassismus und Homophobie gegen Frauen öffentlich zu thematisieren und eine Vielfalt an Geschlechterbildern und -rollen zu fördern.
Das womens Action forum bündelt dazu gesellschaftliches Engagement und Expertise aus den Bereichen Kunst und Kultur, Frauenberatung, Gewaltschutz, Bildung, Soziales, Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Politik sowie feministisch agierender Personen, Szenen und Kollektive.
Wir sind schnell in der Umsetzung – nicht umsonst ist Action bei uns im Wortlaut. Wir sind solidarisch.
